Looking for fast FLASH replacement? Try NVSRAM!

FLASH chips are cheap and well-known. But there are many applications you can use the Non-Volatile Static RAM, shortly NVSRAM.
NVSRAMs are produced by many vendors, e.g. Dallas/Maxim external or TI external. In fact, the NVSRAM is "old good" SRAM chip with embedded Li-Ion battery in one package. More about these interesting circuits you can read in the ScienceProg external article Using NVRAM in embedded project external.
